Loading ...I have no idea why anyone would want to purposely sabotage their own parachute, but to each is own! I can only surmise that this was some sort of product testing or he just wanted to do something extremely crazy. Basically it’s a run of the mill skydive. The guy bails out of the plane and immediately deploys his parachute. After it’s fully open and in-flight he shoots a flare gun directly into his parachute causing it to go up in flames. After some freefall he deploys his reserver chute and all is well.

This was a Honda advertisement filmed and aired live! The jump took place in Spain. The skydivers actually spell out letter by letter HONDA while in freefall. Very cool.

So is this guy really crazy enough to skydive, head-down freefly without a parachute!? Yeah, I didn’t think so either. He’s got a pretty small rig though that is concealed under normal street clothing so it really does look like he doesn’t have a parachute on.
